Characters get a defensive bonus, but cannot attack. Its good for when your men are out in the open and need to get to nearby cover while under fire.

There isn't a fixed number of missions. If you fight a battle and lose, but have a helicopter, you can pull your men out via airlift, and thats it. If the helicopter got shot down that same mission, then you will have to do another mission where you are retreating through enemy territory on foot.

I don't want to give away too much, but there is a 'witch' that consumes peoples minds (soul, essence, etc), turning them into zombies in the process. Your main character awakens with amnesia after being fed opun by said witch, but is still human. What happens from there is up to the player.
The army's only real concern is evacuating as many people as possible, so you can do humanitarian missions for them.
The church wants the zombies and, in particular, the witch, dead. Slaying the damned with or for the church is always an option, although because of your condition, earning their trust will be quite difficult.
Rebels are mostly concerned with looting. Raping and pillaging neutral towns may be neccecery from time to time.
A shadowy nameless organization wants the witch captured 'alive' and intact for research and dissection. Gathering information for them can be VERY rewarding. However, as the only person to survive being fed opun, you will have to be very careful not to become a specimen yourself.
From time to time, the witch may desire your service, with rewards that far surpass anything that the other factions could dream of giving you. If you're willing to sell your soul for power, she is defiantly the one to turn to. Just don't expect sympathy from the other factions...

There will be a story and cut scenes and dialogue options, but no voice acting. The game is 8mb without sound so far, so voice work is out of the question :(
