Salvation at last, after 3 weeks we finally made it to Williams camp. Luckily he still had lots of food and ammo. We told him all about the hell we had to go through to get here. William said that Rikers forces are attacking Sgt. Farleys platoon and that he needed two people to escort a millitary convoy to rescue Farley. Since he didn't have any more men to spare, he choose us. We begin tommorow.

It's boring right now, so I've decided to right in my journal. Not that I don't like the time off, there's just nothing to do. Anyway I just taken a both and some new combat clothes. There's a sense of hope in this camp, and I feel that we might just survive this god foresaken land. Well I better gear up gotta go escort the convoy soon bye.

As both echo and riker seem to have become a little... unsteady, my men, the refugee family, and I agreed to pick up some supplies and head out. We are heading north towards the family's old town. There is an old penitentiary there that would make an amazing fortress and would provide a safe haven for any friendlies. We've been flying for an hour now and will be arriving soon.

We made it to the group and already were moving out. Everyone thinks there safe but really they must be insane. Safe is when you don't have to worry about radiation levels, Bandits, Rogues, Crazies, Or tumbleweeds. Today I looked around the camp and realized something. We used to live in a Utopia society. Free of all but some diseases. Now without protection of most medicines we are prone to diseases and viruses nearly completely forgotten by us. Tetanus, Syphilis, Dengue fever, H4N4. Or even ones thought conquered. Colds can become deadly now a days. Hopefully were were going there will be a hospital that wasn't completely looted.

((a cold wouldn't be deadly, we have a built up immune system, a cold would just be a cold, modern medicine doesn't make it none-deadly, our immune system does.))

((right but point is that you said is that a cold is deadly now a days, where really it just wouldn't let you travel as far and you'd lose your breath a bit more quickly than normal, it's not going to make to miss shots or lose in melee to someone))

We have started to move towards Farlys postion. Surprisingly we have encountered no resistance. My fever is getting worse but I should be alright, the doc said I just had a small cold. Now and again we hear some gunfire coming from Farlys men. I noticed that there have been less tumbleweed attacks. It seems everyone has a cold now a days. The strange thing some have gotten so bad that they went into a coma then after a few hours they woke up and started bitting people. In fact once a sick person ran and bite several other people I shot him in the face after bitting seven people. As I recall those he had bittin also went in a coma and started bitting people. I don't know whats happening but it seems to be spreading from person to person.
