Just pointing this out, your avatar looks like Fez in "That 70s show" lol. Possibly raping a dino lol. Oh and instead of releasing short campaigns release other games like Wisp so you can make profit without ruining the game. And also the finished game will be a lot longer. P.s. In your banner, is the guy with the wide opened eyes a playable character in AW2?? Another suggestion- how about having some campaigns on the ocean. Ex: we can command some ships and place our army in them and swiming zombies swim up to our ships and they try to board them as our guys fight back. Creative suggestions eh?

I really like the games you made and always checked if AW2 was out, but I never really bothered to leave a comment but now I feel like I should because the campaigns might change peoples opinion to the worse about your game... but I really do want to play so if you are confident please, please release it. Cant wait! Also lol to the fez thing... do you really look like that? or is it someone else? The paladins and stuff sound too... rpg-ish and not that i dont like rpg games(I love'em) I still dont think it would fit in AW.

Each campaign will let me refine not only a faction, but a particular aspect of the game. For example, the first campaign will be mission based, mostly infiltrating, so this will give me a chance to develop the survival aspect of AW2. The first campaign will have day/night cycle, dynamic weather, hunger, ammo, and a tracking system.
The tracking system will give the game a sort of 'mantracker' kinda feel; Lupine type xenos will be able to track you're squad by smell, solders will be able to follow your footprints. Rain covers your scent trail, but makes your footprints more obvious in mud, moving at night makes it easier to avoid patrols but you wont spot zombies till they're close, etc.. None of these things would be in AW 2 if it were to be out soon.
If i were to put out AW2 in a couple months (not doing the campaigns), then many fundamental aspects of the game would be under developed. I want AW2 to appeal to both strategy and tactical gamers, which is WAY harder to do than I thought when I said AW2 was %90 done.
I guess i kinda look like fez... the pic has been through a lot of filters, though.

I'm really, really, REALLY sorry to the people who don't like the knights and horses idea, but...

I'm a really big fan of Warhammer and its 40K equivalent (maybe 40K more-so than fantasy), so when I heard about knights and paladins, I got really excited.

Of course, you can't use the horses as a cavalry charge for obvious reasons. One, the zombies explode on contact with vehicles (according to the last game), and the zombies would probably drag down the horses and eat them anyways, thus spawning dozens of more xenophages. And since the Church have predominantly melee classes, horses would therefore become useless.

Still, the Paladin thing is an idea worth looking into. He could carry the armor in a truck or maybe have a "squire" carry it for him. Then when battle is near, he straps it on and starts chanting. :P

Since the Priest unit is a morale-booster, and a decent melee unit, I would be happy to see a big morale-booster and a giant melee tank on the battlefield. Witch-hunters are stealth-fighters, so I don't think they're suited to open battlefields. It would be nice to see a melee "vehicle" in the form of the Paladin. The Paladin is technically not a vehicle, so he shouldn't explode on contact with the zombies, and since the zombies have psychophages as their champion, I thought the Church needed a champion, too. The Witchhunter doesn't seem to fit the bill of a champion because of their mysterious, lonely backgrounds. The troops need a "shining beacon of righteousness" on the open battlefield. The Witchunter could be assigned as assassins to an open army, rather than its leader and commander, which I suspect they would be better suited for. Their role coule be to sneak past oncoming hordes of zombies and assassinate their psychophages. Without psychophages and their telepathic link to the zombies, the zombies will be slower and more vulnerable to damage, since their brains become the sole command center for the zombies, as opposed to psychophagse telepathic direction.

So yeah.... to summarize, horses seem like a bad idea to me, the idea of paladins (no magic) gives me shivers (the good kind), and I you mentioned that psychophages bite someone and it takes days for them to turn to the dead. I think it should be a matter of 24 hours or so, otherwise there would be no Dawn of the Dead scenario unless the WHOLE village was converted before anyone noticed anyone was missing.

I have absolutely no idea how to use flash well, so animating a new unit might push back the AW2 date, which would cause people to track me down and hang me, but a paladin would really create the Warhammer feel much like that opening cutscene in the YouTube video I linked to you.

Plus, the charge function in AW1 was woefully underused by me. I preferred to ride out early on, and slowly wear down zombie numbers by skirmishing so I rarely charged unless it was a last-stand scenario. To get back to my point, it would be nice if the church warriors were a "charging-tactics-based" faction. That way, against any enemy, they would act like the "human zombies", as opposed to the soldiers with guns that stand their ground and fire.

If you do plan on incorporating the paladin unit, can you make it scream, "For the Empire!" pretty, pretty please? :P

Sorry for my super-long spiels. I'm just really looking forward to this game.

Yea, horses would be ALOT of work to put in, and they aren't necessary. I think i might have priests become paladins after enough experiance, and sisters into sister superiors, or mothers... im not sure how the chain of command works in those places (is a pastor like a sergant, or more like corporal o_0).
When the psycophage feeds, it basically does a Vulcan mind meld type thing (completely destroying the victims mind in the process). The witch can then awaken the victim as a zombie, but because the witch will relies on stealth and deception to start an army, they will let the person sleep, and family members will hide their sleeping kin; as once a person is marked, they are to be summarily executed. The witch has a telepathic link with all the zombies in the area, and can have them all awaken after there are a few hundred sleepers. The witch would then use these fresh zombies (that will just appear to be crazy bitey people) to cause general mayhem and carnage, which will allow it to move freely about the chaos, creating fresh zombies rapidly to join the fray.
If a witchhunter is in the area, they can locate the witch, but the church is usually too busy just trying to hold the zombies, and the military's main concern is evacuating civilians, not witchhunts. Witchhunters can take 10 zombies at a time, or 1 greater xeno/psycophage, so they will need help keeping zombies from tiring them out. This is the only situation most players will have a witchhunter in their party.
Im not sure how fancy the paladins attacks are going to be; the only church unit thats getting it's own unique animation set is the witchhunter.
Church squads are mostly melee, but can be fitted with guns. If you carry a rifle, then you cant have a melee weapon, and now that you have ammo, you can't just lay withering fire on every ghoul because zombies take almost no damage from ranged attacks when walking/standing. zombies still die from bleeding out, which happens when they run. So you might want to have a couple fire teams on standby to take out xenos before the can close to melee, and have conscript squads let by priests take out the necros in good ol' CQC.

There are many, many warhammer quotes throughout the game. They're just so damn juicey.

Sweeet!!!
Oreo's back, so he wasn't eaten by zombies! The finished game so far looks like it will turn out great. It will definetly surpass any online game out there. A small question, would not adding all these new widgets to the screen (tactical interphases), not completely screw it up. So you would have more popups then you would need.

Uhhhmmm... there are a few double negatives in what you said that confuse me, but i think I know what you're saying. The action screen, and the command hud are completly sperate; the only thing that covers the action screen are the words that the characters are saying. i HATE when games have clutterey HUDs over the action.

Thanks for explaining to me, but i meant release the campaigns sorry if you misunderstood because my english not so good cuz not my native language yea... also i dont care if you look like fez

lalalallalalallalal lol just bored.

I'll put something sexy up soon...

Please let it be porn lol (fingers crossed) lmao

Not that kind of sexy.

although...

Do you need beta tester?

I think i might do beta for the week before the first campaign comes out. Quality insurance and such. Anyone who wants in will be in. I'll give a shout out when the time comes.

Pretty good trailer but you should show some zombies

Next trailer fo sho

sorry for the 2 posts but why hasn't the demo come out if the soilders are done. Anywhy take your time. I also have some stuff you could add, like superweapons and upgradeable weapons. Also you could add napam and poison gas :)

{Can't wait for it to come out!!}

Oh, there are super weapons. im not getting in to those right now, though, but each faction has at least one.

I MIGHT put in a flamethrower/grenadier unit. Not till later campaigns, though.

"And god commandeth... Let there be porn!!!" lmao True passage from the bible. Oh and commentaries believe by porn he means lesbian porn lol.

Im trying to get lesbien porn in... can't figure out how to fit it in... maybe a subfaction of the church... Lesbien witchhunting nuns.

No, no... that would be TOO hawt.

dude for aw2 u should really be able to combined squads together so u can have a stronger force to fight with who ever you are playing as and should chuck your xbox out the window, go outside and smash it even more then light it in fire put a fuse in it and blow it up get the pieces and ship them to godam japan!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and get your ass on the comp and start working on the freakin game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One cannot create videogames by destroying videogames. Larger mob units can exchange units freely.

hey its kfcandaw2 i have another coment

u should have the squads have portibale mechine guns so u dont have o order heavy veicals

PS GET THE HELL ON YOUR COMP AND START TYPEING BECAUSE IM AM GOING TO SHIT MY SELF IF YOU DONT GET THE GAME OUT IN LESS THAN A MONTH!!!!!!!!!!

Im trying to put in heavy weapon teams (loader/gunner for machine gun, rifleman/spotter for long range sniping, etc). These might not be in till later campaigns, though.

you can destroy your xbox and still create a game online so just go take your xbox and put it in the closet AND THAN BURN THE CLOSET ON FIRE!!!!!!!!!

Man you haven't posted any new news. Put up some screenshots or something. Your fans are bored. Work harder on the game!!!! Add lesbian zombies lmao!

When zombies combat your troops at close range make some zombies jump on some female soldiers and make them get raped or something lol. That would be funny. Grope them mostly. :D
