The units are still in concept stage as far as their stats and stuff, but the general balance is:
Military
evacuates civilians, hunts down raiders.
pros
-have artillery and air support
-have best vehicles and armor
-have well trained solders
cons
-civilians think the army is responsible for outbreak, so are reluctant to soldiers.
-out numbered around 5 to 1 when fighting zombies and raiders
-very dependant on gas to keep tanks operational
Church
hunts down zombies, in charge of defence of towns
pros
-Has full support from civilians
-Uses large mobs of conscripts
-devastating in melee
cons
-fanatical units may not be willing to retreat, and may charge on their own.
-doesn't have much access to guns or gun training.
-minimal vehicle support.
Rebels
Anti-military. Salvation through anarchy.
pros
-raid towns for slaves, food, and supplies
-large numbers
-okay at melee and ranged
-many light vehicles
cons
-hostile to all other factions
-squads may fight one another, unless led by a champion.
-Very poor moral, unless led by a champion.
And zombies you know about.

Also, nexgen soldiers look so cool. Are the like the imperials in star wars where they kill civilians?
I don't want to get in to the specifics, but if civs try to escape the quarantine, they will be taken out by enforcers if they are using roads, and ghosts if they are in the forest. You will know all about them by the end of the first campaign.
Can't wait for the chance to see 2 squads going all out hope to see lost of action ^_^
If you have ever heard of Warhammer 40,000, try looking into dark angel space marines. they have really good looking stuff you might want for your church or rebels or whatever. Also, is it possible for customizable platoon insignias and actual shoulder pads? that would look great. Btw saying that i think the game is awesome but that the idea of the battle bus is extremely cheap (unless tanks rock at killing and are easy to produce. Also, is this like an RTS? Or a turn based strategy?
Vehicles may have insignias, and larger squads may have banners for morale. The battle bus is very difficult to produce (you need to overrun an army base just to get the guns to make one). They do have heavy armor, but a few well placed 100mm shells can take it out.
No really i ain't joking cuz you really put a _eck of a lot of effort into this beautiful game which has gone from a superb flash game to a near modern Computer Game Quality style you've put you heart into it I say we should all donate at least something to help you out

Will the character u make hav any abilities
In AW2 your character will have near witch-hunter abilities, which can be increased by doing missions for the undead (which pisses. I might also include a perks system, like COD4. Makes the game very customizable, and way more interesting then just basic stats.
suggestions of new units: a siege tank, battle cruiser, next gen zombies?, flamethrowers, zombie controlled jeep/tank?(rare), plague ability affects squad lave feed on the infected person then he dies and pop out cames 2 flying bugs?or what ever, and last but not least human piloted mobile battle machines or known as dragoon or any other name
read earlier posts... although the power armor is something that I'm considering...
oh yeah and a ghost sniper/and can launch a goo that slows down units and activate super weapons

From your last response, I'm guessing that there are a lot of abilities/skills to get, and either you can't them all and you have to have to play it multiple times, or have a new game+ thing, though only your character and nothing else (well, maybe a secret weapon or starting somewhere else).
It IS possible to get all the skills, although some you can only get from military, church, raiders, undead, etc. The game ends when there is only one faction remaining (multiple endings), so if you want all the skills, you will have to keep them all alive long enough to learn from them, which will be a VERY delicate and lengthly process. If you DO manage to get all the skills, your character will be a lesser god on the battlefield.
I just played Autumn War again and i discovered a bug.I just have to click the picture of the person's head then all zombies are gone.
You should be able to declare yourself a faction in the game. This would piss everyone off, but you would be allowed to take towns for yourself, and get an extra ending for killing all the other factions. I know that that would be hard to do, but think about it. It would be cool.
Each town is like it's own faction. If you spend the entire game helping the town, then you can come to be the lord of that town. Then you are concerned with keeping your people happy and safe. Having military in the town will keep raiders away, but will tap you for gas, having a large church presence is great for zombies, but can be expensive to maintain its troops, etc.
The idea is to let the player play how THEY want to play; you can get any of the endings without ever even having your main character in a fight.
