Hm. Either way, are you going to have ammo counted for each unit or just taken from a large pool? Does this apply for both standard and specialty weapons?

Ah, kinda like advanced wars. Does that mean they die if they run out or do they just become unable to move? Do towns need to be fed and such?

Endwar is a fucking video game set in a hypothetical future. You can't tell other people to call things WMDs or not because of some game.
You couldn't label them anyway as they don't even exist yet.

I was going to do a pool for simplicity sake, but i also want every bullet to count when in survival situations, so each unit has it's own ammo.

Once a squad is down, you can no longer control it. If you are losing a battle, then organizing medivacs for your men will be priority.
Towns will require food, medical supplies, ammo and weapons, gas, and a bunch of other commodities. You will be able to play though AW2 by just buying and selling things if you want, so there are going to be a lot of things to make it work.

RE5... i give it 4 1/2 outta 5... Over all very nice, but there are a few things like how enemies don't really react to the terrain (animation wise), or they will run at you, then stop and stare as you slowly reload your rifle. All that was in RE4, but on current gen systems i find that just a little too annoying.

Re5 out does re4 they may stare like hell but cmon if that happeneed to the chainsaw guy and he didnt stare at you u would die in 3 seconds witout having a chance 2 run i mean cmon grafffics awesome gameplay awesome multiplayer AWESOME!! but there are a few problems like jack shit ammo and very limited choice of weps such as u cant trade em on the demo i reckon that puts it down i give it a 9.5/10

Reading through this post, i noticed someone related GOW2 to bayonets, please, dont have children whom ever put that, for, bayonets have been used since before the men who created gears 2, were even thought of, seriously, that associastion is bull shit, the chainsaw rev isnt even a bayonet, if you notice, its built into the gun on gears 2, bayonet's are placed onto a gun, not built into, please, dear poster who said that, shut the fuck up!

Oh, it's better than RE4 in pretty much every way, it's just re4 was utilizing the gamecube hardware in almost every way possible. RE5... not so much.

does a gun cost that much, like 190000 for m16, 45000000 for sniper?

can i command a squad, the roadie run, does roadie run command atomatically command?

does a weapon each get levels like a M16 can be bought if a person is in level 11.

In the first chapter, there is no EXP points, but later, each person will have their own exp.

The price of guns depends on the ingame economy. Guns sell for low if ammo in the area is low, or threat of attack is low. Different areas value different guns differently too; large city's and forested towns value mp5, where as open areas value RPGs and sniper rifles.

If the squad is taking fire and you tell them to charge, they will roadie run, otherwise they will run normally.

No, but weapons can be heavily customized.

Yea, it's good, but so much potental...
The gun sounds are underwhelming, but the explosions get the job done.

If by 1911 you mean pistol... there will only be one kind in the 1rst chapter, but if I add more it will only be one gun for each caliber.

The economy will be fully dynamic. Starting wars so that you can sell your guns and ammo for more will be an option. Keeping your stuff safe from raiders will be the main concern, then.

What do you get to use in the demo?

Yeah, the 1911 .45 pistol. I think it'd be perfect as a medium pistol. Between the high cap 9mm pistols and overkill magnum sidearms. Powerful, ergonomic and reliable, but low mag cap to balance it out (maybe just make the ammo pool low?).

The first chapter will only have a 9mm (looks like a glock).

later chapters will include

.22 - ammo is light, and can be whisper quiet when suppressed. Almost no stopping power, though.

9mm - bread and butter

45 - Very good stopping power on unarmored targets, but more recoil than the 9mm

50 AE - Will drop a zombie with only one body shot, but is VERY loud and the ammo is heavy and expensive. Tons of recoil.

You will be able to combine pistols with a sword, shield, or another pistol, or just as a side arm. The mp5k will be able to be used in this way, too.

Will there be elephant guns in AW2? It would be cool if there were, and they'd be good for picking off witches and Xenos. It'd also be cool if you put a Zeliska in. They're my favorite gun, but if you don't want to put one in, that's fine.

Im not sure about the elephant gun, but if it was going in, it would definatly be a raider weapon. The 50 cal magnum will look like a generic (and huge) pistol.

By the way, if you fall back, will your men drag the wounded and fallen or just run?
I mean for both back fall back and retreat

Right now your men just leave the wounded behind, and it only shows dragging wounded/CPR when a squad is wiped out. If i can think of a way to incorperate those into regular combat, than i will.
