With respect captain hemata I must decline, for many reasons, over. Echo does not have enough men to stop the horde and would only doom him, over. Also, sammy is in danger and I am near enough to his position to aid him, over. I am also far too overloaded to carry an APC, however, I could fly above and provide overwatch, over. I believe that if I manage to find sammy I could airlift his jeep and provide some transport to Echo, over. Also, I have located a small canyon between Echo's position and Sammy's last known location that could provide a way to lessen the horde, over. I will meet you at your rendezvous point at 0900 hours, over. If I have not arrived by 1030 hours, continue to the town as far as you can and I will find you, over.
Captain's log: 0934 hours
By the time I arrived at Sammy's last known position, he was long gone. All that was left was a mass of tumbleweeds arranged in a circle around the only hill in miles, in what appeared to be a last stand. There was some blood on the ground but as it was fresh, I had some reason to believe he was alive. I managed to follow his tire tracks to a small dried up river bed some miles away. He was suffering from severe heatstroke but we were able to get some water into him and he seems to be making a full recovery. We are now on our way to Ech- What is it William? ............ my god........... There is a full scale battle going on around Echo's forces and it doesn't look good. There is what appears to be a brief respite so we will land and disburse supplies and military aid where we can. I will be radioing for aid but the horde following us has arrived and the swarm is growing bolder. Oreo help us all.....
This is Cpt. Sask of Spec Op. division M16. We've been having alot of distress calls being called out lately by out radios. Fortunately for you, our mobile base is but 5 klicks south of your position Belaris. I've already deployed two of our Comanche prototype gunships as well as 3 armed Chinooks at your location. Rally up your survivors and hold out until I reach there. Food, ammunition and medicals supplies are all in the Chinooks as well as our medics. We've also called in a napalm strike on tumbleweed fortifications so it should be able to distract them. I need a debriefing of your current status ASAP. The tumbleweed is mankinds enemy and the sooner we learn about them, the better.
Cpt. Sask on station. Out.

Journal of William Hemata:

Death himself might as well have been marching with us, across this hot desert, death is all we saw. We found a small oasis along our travels and restocked on water. With this we were able to make it to the city. Thankfully there were no tumbleweeds so we set up camp. We have set up camp and set up a good perimeter. No tumbleweed is getting in alive. We've been able to create more napalm and our pyros' are quite happy for it. We've decided to dig in a stay here a while, there's enough food to last us for a year approximately and i feel a good defense is what we need. I will be leaving a signal, to show survivors are here.

Thank god someone came to help me. Can't write any more need rest.

P.S. I still keep hearing Riker.
Journal entry #36
Sammy ran off for a unknown reason so I pray he knows a safe place to go. I brought the last three other sane survivors and followed Sammy. When walking away a explosion went off. The remainder of our ammo. While walking I saw two Chinook transport helicopters and a Apache moving to were we believed Sammy was. They bore Riker's insignia. The tumble weeds had won, morale was low, and we were slowly dying of thirst. We were the only survivors from the attack. I pray I can find Sammy soon.

Journal entry #42
We found Sammy and the remnants of a battalion. After telling them how our former position we were given weapons. Improvements over the rusty hunting rifles we had. I warned them we weren't able to completely able to cover our tracks and the Tumble weeds will most likely follow. Also there was a small chance of armored tumbleweeds.
I also warned them of remnants pf Riker's army moving around the desert. Sadly Sammy was unconscious and I had to wait to talk to him. They reluctantly aloud me to talk to him when he wakes up.

Captains Log #68
The god damn radio keeps buzzing in with distress calls. Although our napalm tanks are capable of tanking out both tumbleweed soldiers and armor alike, I fear that we are going to be unable to rally all survivors to regroup and evacuate this area. We've expanded our searching borders even to the sea in hopes of finding Oreo and his secret weapons. I have no idea what the Colonel was thinking when he asked if we could get SAM sites ready for possible aircraft. The tumbleweed airforce is easily crippled by even our 30mm AA guns. Unforunately we've been informed of a possible resistance force supporting the tumbleweed. Even worse, they have multiple armed planes as well as armor that our napalm can't even pierce, which is strange since our napalm is capable of even melting titanium. We only brought enough anti-tank fortifications to deal with on minor vehicles such as jeeps and motorcycles. We have no idea who is leading the resistance, but we've heard reports of only having 2 weeks left before we ditch this area to Canada; Oreo's last know whereabouts. I just hope we're able to evacuate both civilians and survivors. I've even requested we double the amount of radios we have to improve chances of evacuation.
- Captain Sask
OK now this is not good. Didn't you get the memo? Follow the other's storyline or we end up with two stories. Since everyone except you is on one storyline, you might want to rejoin.
My storyline is based upon what oreo did for the game: The evacuation of civilians. Of course I realize that your storyline and such is pitted against tumbleweeds and such as well as riker's army and your main objective is to well... survive in a post-nucleur war. My team in a way operates to band all survivors and to find oreo to stop this madness. Or course I respect the fact that you wish to have the storyline your way, seeing as how I had just joined.
So how do you want me to be involved in the plot?

Captain Hemata:
I don't know if you can hear me but we are proceeding towards the town. This message will be repeated every 0030 hours (not really) until I get a response. We won the battle with the tumbleweeds, with heavy casualties, thanks to Sgt. Sask and his squad of gunships. He also sent two Chinooks and we have enough space to carry all of our men. Signing out.

Sgt. Sask:
Thank you for your assistance, over. You saved us in the nick of time (did you come w/ helicopters?), over. With your permission, I would like to use your helicopters as an escort to rescue an old friend of mine about twenty klicks north of our position, over. He has a small force holed up in an abandoned town and needs extraction, over. With or without your permission, I will be continuing to the town but the escort would be greatly appreciated, over.
and sorry xdark... that was meant for echo. I would personally like it if you were an army sergeant left in command of a small task force after the world went to hell, but you lost contact w/ gov while back (i think gov influence would be bad for story) but it really up to you. i have also rescued a few civilians but the main idea at this point is to simply survive.

Entry 112
What a day. When I woke up I found myself face to face with Echo. At first I thought he was going to kill me and I soon put a pistol to his head. But he explained that he didn't want to kill me and that the bullet that gave me a grazing wound was actually from a raider sharp shooter. After that I put aside my pistol, my hand though still tighly gripping it. Echo then said that he spotted some unknown forces that he belived to be the remiants of Rikers army. I then said that lately I've been hearing Riker's voice and during the tumbleweed attack I saw what looked like the ghost of Riker. As soon as I said that Echo eyes suddenly opened wide in amazement. Then Echo said in a more serious tone that we needed to keep on moving and asked if I had a car but I told him that the tumbleweeds destoryed it. I also told him that Belaris was out looking for any extra supplies and wouldn't be back till tommorrow.

Radio Transmission 1246 Hours.
Belaris, this is Sgt. Sask. I realize that it's our duty to survive here in this hell zone of a war. I would gladly appreciate to assist you with our comanches. Unfortunately, I've had reports of AA sites in the area, making my comanches an easy target to shoot down. If you can send in a team and sabotage those AA sites, my comanches would mop up those tumbleweed soldiers. I myself, was put into spec op training for CQC situations so it's best you get me some of your best marksmen with extensive training as mine as well. Once those AA sites are down, all hell will break loose- that is for them. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.
Aside from the lame laugh, I'll meet you at our drop ship hangars at 1300 hours. I just hope your teams loves parachuting over.

Echo and I had to leave without Belaris due to a large tumbleweed attack but we marked our trail so anyone could find where we were. Also I found another military radio from a dead body that was burned beyond reconition. I only hope Belaris can regroup with us.
-Sammyfun-
P.S. I still see RIKER.

*William curses under his breath, everything seemed to be falling apart, he turns to the radio to give his response to Belaris*
We may have a solution for you. I have pick up coordinates for you set in, but first you need to move over the position of Delta20176, i repeat, fly over Delta20176, there is a distraction there that i am sure will be enough to distract your followers(echo's forces, since he's the only character there, all the rest if i am correct there are NPC's, which would make him leader of that group of NPCs) After you go over that than fly approximately 10 miles south, there you will meet with my platoon and Farley's squad. I think we may be able to fit everyone in your chopper and the APC Farley has. This is hoping that you can carry the APC via lift as well, once done so we can head to the city to the north.
