When two or more zombies grab a soldier, and the witch is nearby, the zombies will restrain the soldier and take off his helmet so that the witch can consume the soldiers mind, turning him into a traitor/madman. The witch will also be aware of any intel the soldier might have, so a loyal soldier will cap himself before letting the witch have him.
Zombie infiltrators may shamble around like they're not aware of nearby humans, then close in quickly when the soldiers back is turned, they may also ambush, or wait until a soldier strays from his squad before attacking.
so how do you defeat the witch anyway
Shotgun to the balls? Her mortal incarnation is human, so even a shot to the leg will down her. Your under orders to recover her body intact, so no artillery. Any human looking at her starts shaking, making her hard to kill at range.
The witch (when transparent like in most of the video) can't be harmed by most weapons, but she can't attack in this form, ether.
So blowing her up is just going to lead up to an automatic fail huh, so where the fun in that?
coordinating artillery without blowing up the witch should be a 'blast' for most players. haaaa.
how many types of witches will there be and can the witches have a ability to immediatly turn or posses one of your men and use them as scouts or assassins
There are 5 diff witches (one for each cemetery), and the witches can immediately turn your soldiers, provided the zombies can get their helmet off. The witch can then control them as though they were one of her zombies, although they can still use weapons, vehicles.
Your men are ordered to treat any soldier without a helmet on as hostile.
SSSSoooo are the zombies going to be doing this every time or are they going to eat If a witch is not around and what about the next gen,we haven't seen their in game model yet.
They eat if witch isn't around, and your main character and COs are nextgen.

They become enraged by the presence of a mortal because they know they're zombies when a human is nearby, so they kill them. Zombies with low spiritual energy would consume the soldiers flesh to get what little energy would be lingering in the tissue of the dead soldier.
wait a minute.Who are we playing as?,are we the Army or the next gen? and I specifically remembered you saying back in 2008 that the next gen main objective was to*sudden realisation* bring back the witch...... alive.Now the reason I asked you about the next gen is because I wanted to see some human vs human action.Not the "Mad men" action but a corporation with badass troops vs the military.
oh and has been every thing back in 2008 scrapped.Like the next gen ambushing your troops or If your helicopter gets shot down while evacuating you will have a mission to do It on foot or due to you using a new engine you will be implementing all that.
There are a few different ways a helicopter can go down, and when it does then the crew becomes a unit who should probably be rescued.
A lot of stuff from 2008 has been scrapped, or at least revised.
Ohh and what can the zombies do aganist choppers,will we be seeing flying zombies or the which can just cause It to crash by telling a bunch of birds to mess It up and can our troops creep up on zombies as well?
The witch can make the helicopter pilot 'zone-out', the chimera can fling hand fulls of rocks, the madmen can use rpgs and SA-7, and the dragons can engage direct.
The stealth system will be very in-depth.
Wow... the beginning made it look like more of a story game rather than a zombie game. But I can see there's some shoot out too. The Mechanics definitely doo look improved... just that it's hard to see from this particular trailer(it seemed rather laggy). But anyway, looking foward for the game... it seems it's going to be a lot different from the first one...

Other that solders who lost their minds to the witch, nexgen wont be fighting army
Will we be also having a sand box or conquest mode in which you try to gain territories and conduct scouting operations along with raids on other factions.Obviously not at launch by how ever may be a month or two.
There will be a skirmish/quick play mode, but im not sure about territories.
what would happen if one of your squad were able to get up close and personal with the witch and attempted to hit her with a melee attack, also does the witch as any variety of melee attacks as well?
The witch doesn't have any melee attacks. Taking the witch out in melee is the easiest way to kill her, as anyone looking at her gets shakey hands.

There will be 5 witches, each with it's own level, and the goal is to hunt them down
will we also having an leveling up or research mechanic?
Im still thinking about that.

They have actually been turned in to traitors directly by the witch. Any soldier without a helmet inside the cemetery is to be considered hostile. Your CO's don't need helmets due to implants.
