In other news, I haz a laptop.
AW 2 is still a long way off, but...
If any of you like the flash game 'secret mission', Im going to do a little game like that using the autumn war 2 engine. I am going to get it out in *drum roll* ONE WEEK!!! It will give me a chance to get the zombies properly animated, and I all ready have most the soldier animations done.
I'll keep Y'all posted.

I need to fix up my desktop before doing anymore work on AW2. This new laptop is great, but dual core can't really handle flash properly.
Never heard of AW before now but it looks awesome. Espressoly if that's all in game.

Was it the military vs the raiders in the beginning and then military vs nextgen in the end?
Man...the nextgen slaughtered.
This is before the outbreak, so those were just mercs, which can be hired by the player as well. They function much like the raiders, though.
The nextgen are very elite, but few in number; so they fill most of their ranks with mercs in the first chapter.

Hiya Oreo, welcome back, quick question, was the railgun in any of that combat? and could you show us a video with the helicopters in action? choppers vs. tanks? vs. infantry? ect ect, would be nice, lookin great :D also a bit of action from the Witches would be awesome to see :D
The big one is the rail gun but it still needs some work... mostly just muzzle flash and firing modes.
The next trailer will have choppers and infantry (they can aim up, which will be cool for some of the bigger boss fights).
I'll probably show a witch taking down a chopper in the next trailer, too. The zombies are the main attraction, though.

The military assault rifle is like an m16.
And I asked this in the last post, after all these things,I am still not clear about something.Who are the nextgens?Who are the rebels? Is it the government sent out Military to eliminate zombies??
I can't get into the origins of the nextgen without spoilers. The rebels are mostly just civilians who need food and supplies, and get it by attacking nearby settlements. Some raiders are good, and will only attack zombie infested towns, but some raiders are bad, and will pillage and raid populated areas.
They are trying to contain it, not necessarily to cull the 'infected'. The church, on the other hand, is all about the killing of zombies. It is their purpose.
I know what they are saying after watching a few more times. they are saying "NO!We cannot...fall..."

When the camera is zoomed in on the enemy, it will show the speakers face so that you know who's talking. You will be able to disable it, though.

Oh yeah...Empire Total War is a bugfest right now.....some things work out fine....but...ugh.
The music fits the period though, but it needs more tracks.
From DoW mostly, but relic also mad CoH.
If I got empire, AW2 production would halt for a few years... Im off the total war, and I'm staying off. For now.
