hi oreo will there be a online mode for like a quick battle or a instant action like skirmish mode and will u give strategies for utube if u ever get bored it would help in video than text as u can watch the producer/creater explain weaknesses and strengths

how about that nextgen uses lightsaber or lasersword, not for units or witches.
will there be medics?
you said they could fight on land and on air, could they fight at seas like navy?
will there be metal shield?
could you make your people and design it?
will there be rocket tanks?
can you put in google that protects when they got shot on the eye?

1) doubt it, but if i can do it easily, then maybe. The nextgens prefer long range to melee. Military is good for either.
2) I might put in naval units in a later campaign.
3) After the zombies are introduced.

Goggles do not stop any bullet larger then a .22 rimfire or shotgun.
It'd be kinda a waste making the eyes a hitzone as well.....

Its only moderately futuristic; firearms are still standard issue weapons.

Yep, but the largest weapons that can be equipped are the mp5 or the sword. It's good for holding ground, and making the raiders use up their ammo.

Just pray they don't field any 50 cal. Those will go straight though...

Shields make the units count as heavy armor, although they do provide a melee bonus.

I would be military: big guns, and big objectives.

Zombies are not initially playable, but later they will be.

Witches are intelligent, although only one can speak, and they command the zombies.

A xeno is a zombie that has eaten animal flesh, so is half beast, half human. They count as elites for the zombies. Witches can be killed, depending on how strong they are, by any faction. The witchhunter is a solo wandering unit, who will join or fight you depending on your actions, and they can kill any but the strongest witches.

2. zombies might not be playable
3.Hes going to make the npcs talk. your charactor will talk too
4.Im sure it would take alot of work to make walls out of dead bodies
5.A xeno is a super zombie that can turn into a zombie of whatever it eats
6.Only the church has anti witch troopers

Can be either. It's safer to command from afar, but your CO gains perks faster than other units, so you will probably want em on board for more critical missions.

I wonder if it's possible to win with infantry alone and not rely on any vehicles....

INFANTRY SWARM, INTO THE MEATGRINDER! FORWARD!!!

I have decided to not allow vehicles to move through forests, some maps do not allow vehicle deployment. Well, helicopters and artillery would still work... And you COULD deploy humvees with the cargo helicopter. But yea, vehicles are only useful in open areas, and some towns are completely surrounded by forest.

You can also hire mercs for cheap and use them as diversion/fodder.

You shouldn't make it to so all vehicles can't go through forest. you should make it so thing like humvee's could go through the forest.

Vehicles can go through forests if there is a road or path, but otherwise doing things like ambushing convoys or capturing roads/checkpoints would be pointless. IRL, even tanks cant get though thick forest. It's what infantry are for.

BURN THE FORESTS!

The particle effects would be way too graphic intensive. It would kick ass though.

It'd also be funny if there were merc witches....

Not to mention, are there weapons that are unique only to mercenaries?

(Kinda like the...umm...mercenary monster bombard in MTW 2)

Mercs can acquire weapons of any faction, in addition, they get battle rifles, which are dirt cheap, and pack alot of punch, but are slow, and inaccurate.

Damn, you certainly put aeons of thought into this game.....

By the way, were you influecned by C&C or other RTS series when you were making this?

Advance wars, dawn of war, ahh... a bit of the total war franchise i guess... Also gears of war, call of duty, splinter cell, assassins creed... many, many others.

I'm going to tell you, thats actually pretty damn hard to do, regardless of how much it cuts down your target profile.
Are there motorbikes? If so, do they have side cars? (a la AW days of ruin)

Thats pretty damn cool. Although, it'd suck if you were doing really well and you lost because a shell just happened to get your main character O.O

I roadie run all the time in paint ball; it's not that hard if you practice and exercise the right muscles for it. Squats and lunges with 50 lb weights get you in shape for it quick. And you can fire to the side while R-running, which is good, as a perpendicularly moving target is hard enough to hit, never mind the reduced profile.

No motorbikes. I want to add them, but doing the turn-around animation would be too tough. Plus fallingback/ retreating wont work. In a later chapter, i may add a top-down camera, which would allow motorcycles.

Nah, then i would have to send everyone a copy. Also, i have to tweek stuff in the source file to change things like units and maps at the moment.
