Hey Oreo!
Given the complex nature of 40k, I finally found what the "church" in autumn war can relate to in Warhammer.
The "indirectly controlled" armies of the Ecclesiarchy. Cool, huh?
so wut r da improvements in AW2 dat AW1 other den new enemys and new weps
ALL of them...
Hi wow good to be back! Oreo I've got some questions and some sugestions.
Well here I go
1.is every thing you said before still in the game?
2. Are there any other zombie types other than xeno or a witch?
3. could you give use some game tips?
Sugestion
1.How about an ability that allows you to duel weild heavey weapons (Got the idea on brute force)
1) yep, but not all in the first chapter
2) Nope, but zombies, witches and xeno can be combined in to pretty much any kind of monster you can think of... although that's mostly just backstory.
3) Sure.
The next gens will be getting something like power armor in later chapters, which would allow that.
sorry to dubble post but tips?
what? the first one?
do the zombies have a super weapon and you know autumn war 1 well autumn war 2 is way bigger by the sounds of it and goodluck on your next game and do you get chainsaws
Witches and xeno are kinda like super weapons for the zombies... and you do get chainsaw bayonets in the first chapter (think gears of war), and I will add regular chainsaws in a later chapter.
are u very close 2 completion of the 1st chapter demo n how many chapters are der?
quite close... i think there will be 4 or 5 chapters total.
oreo, sammyfun means his third question, he was wondering if you can give us some tips.....like now or somethin(not sure what he had in mind)
ah... the game will have a couple tutorial missions, but i dont really feel like typing up tips at the moment...
So are there Gauss rifles ?
I might be making the nextgen 50. cal carbine a gauss weapon, as they all ready have a rail gun, which is pretty much the same thing. keeping with the theme and all that.
1.so who is in control of the zombies out of xenos or witches.
2.who is in control of xenos and witches.
3.do we get an explanation of what happened to get zombies.
4.will there be a backround story for witches.
5.any warlocks.
6.how long is chapter 1.
7.will we have navy for support in near water missions ?
8.if the arty is engaged in combat what will they use to defend themselves ?
9.any trenches we can build.
10.fortifications?
11.will this work on nvidia geforce4 on hd
12.will the game be out b4 march ?
13.will there be seasons and terrain shift like winter snow autumn windy summer hot?
14.will the strength of the wind and the climate affect troops or towns?
15.will there be convoys for food and water from city to city ?
16.most powerful weapon ?
1) Witches can control anything, Xeno can't 'control' anything, but act more like an alpha when no witch is present.
2) Witches and xeno are their own masters.
3) In the first chapter.
4) Yep
5) Witches can be male or female. Different factions call witches, xeno and zombies different things.
6) Longer than AW1
7) In later chapters, perhaps.
8) The artillery can, depending on the type, direct fire. If the enemy gets really close, then the artillery crew can use their own weapons.
9) Maybe, but you can lay sandbags.
10) Yep
11) no idea.
12) god I hope so.
13) not in the first chapter.
14) no
15) yep
16) The nextgen artillery is the best, story wise, as it can take out buildings with %100 accuracy, and destroy ICBMs in flight. A fully equipped army artillery battery can destroy an entire town in a few hours, though, so there is no 'ultimate' weapon.
so the next gens artililery is like WMD like end war u should really get dat game its worth it oh n resident evil 5 demo came out i downloaded it its hard >.<
Orbital artillery takes awhile to recharge between attacks, so it's definably more of a fire support platform than a WMD. The nextgens use it to take out tanks and fortifications before their infantry move in for the kill.
Ground artillery delivers way more firepower, although it's way less accurate. It can usually take out buildings and stationary vehicles when there is a spotter, but the armies main way of dealing with those are it's own battle tanks and air support.
I played a bit of RE5 the other day. I still like RE4 more, though. Spain is just a lot spookier i think. That, and HUNK. And Wesker... but i know Weskers' in RE5...
How powerful can a single infantry squad get?
Quite strong, although the more men and equipment you have in a squad, the louder and slower that squad becomes.
i cant wait for the second installment of autumn war the last game was awsome but this 1 is going to be way cooler. man cary on making it coz i just cant wait!
I could type up the tips for you. Just give me raw info after the beta comes out and the format you want it in and I can type it up.
Anyway, I didn't reply for a few days to give you a bit of respite from my endless questions.
Have you finalized how you're going to count actual ammo and such?
How are rations and such tracked an implemented?
Since you said units are going to mostly go off perks I was wondering about when they get killed. When your squad regens, do you get entirely new units, or the same units you had with all their skills and specialties, minus supplies and such?
If your infantry is cross trained, can you use captured artillery and air units?
(would driving be a specialty?) It'd be fucking epic to go on a covert mission and use enemy hardware on their own men.
Im still working on the ammo, but i think it's going to allow solders to share ammo; so if you have a machine gunner in your squad, you can have each solder carry a belt of ammo for it.
Rations are like fuel for infantry. Marching for a day uses 1 day of food. Staying still uses 1/4th, and marching double time uses 3X. You can resupply infantry with helicopter, so knowing where enemy SAM sites are is essential.
After a battle, if you control the field, any downed solders can be healed. If the enemy controls the field then they will ether be executed or captured, at which point you can pay ransom or break them out.
You're men can use captured equipment, but only if they know how to use it. You would need to sneak a tank crew in to pilot a tank, or train your commandos how to do it.
i agree with u RE4 is da best 2 bad luis had 2 die he looked just like me if i was 20 lol they should of put in in mercenarys mode tho
I still play mercs once and awhile.
Res 5 isnt hard i completed the assembly in 5 mins and shanty town took me 15 mins just get on the bus and dont let the fat 1 touch u until backup arrives and on shanty town get all the ammo u can and use ure sniper 2 shoot him in the eye it will make him prone to uppercut do that about 5 times and he should die make sure tho that u have backup otherwise zombies will kill u
its the game free to play?
how many squads can you have control over in a battle or on the battlefield?
can you build troups?
how many troups and armors/cars is it in one squad?
can you call in an airstrike?
can you throw stun or flash grenades?
is there any new orders in AW2? (if there is can you say them)
can you use mines, C4 or TNT?
do troups retreat whitout giving the order retreat if the zombies get to close?
i hope you understand my english.......
1)The game is free to play.
2)In the first chapter, i think the limit is going to be 5 squads; it's alot more character 3)driven than AW2 will be.
4)In the first chapter, only 5 men and one vehicle, but those numbers will increase 5)dramatically in later chapters.
6)There are several types of air support.
7)Grenades can be used, but your men automatically decide when to use them.
8)There are, but im switching them around still, but i'll get back to that in a later post...
9)You can only use mines on roads. C4 can be used by infantry to melee vehicles. I think im going to put in claymores, too.
10)If your men lose morale, yes. But having an officer in the squad can usually let them fight to the death.
by the way a orbital lazer is a WMD(weapon of mass destruction)and its even called that in the end war which sucks cos its too easy look all u need is upgraded helis and a few infantry squads to capture uplinks
and i love using it to kill groups of enemies
Kyrator... You seriously believe that do you? If so, you've never faced me in endwar, I don't play that much but gunship and infartry spamming doesn't work, well, least not against my BLITZ tactics.
Blondboy10
hey man waz up how you doin just asking can you make some troops retreat and leave some for cover and weaknig the strong opposing force?
Oreo47
You would need two squads for that, but yea.
